Bees sign striker Morrison on loan
Former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison has returned to London after agreeing a loan move to Brentford.
The Bees have taken Morrison, 32, from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season after completing the deal before Thursday’s deadline.
Brentford were desperate to sign a forward following the recent departure of top scorer Gary Alexander to Crawley Town.
A Republic of Ireland international, Morrison had two spells with Palace and played in the top flight for both the Eagles and Birmingham City.
He moved to Yorkshire last summer after a two-year spell with Coventry.
Earlier this season he was on loan at MK Dons, where he scored three times in six appearances.
